welcome to the reality !
for this , you got to have year plans .
Okey, so where did I start ?
In my early days I started with a Nikon D5200 , got 24 MPs
and good quality in video recording :)
the lens was a 50 mm D and a Tamron 200 mm , but sold it later and got a 35mm 1.8 G Prime lens
a wide lens with a focus motor in build
remember the D5200 , it ain't got a focus motor built inside the camera

without a motor [so I wanted to master manual focusing on a 50mm ] it was a long journey , but got to lean a lot.
that you cannot go wide with a 50 mm , but always have the advantage of low light conditions .
that you cannot go wide with a 50 mm , but always have the advantage of low light conditions .
some thing like driving a manual car :) you gotta learn from the deep shit .
bought a new flash - godox v 850 with manual model - Nikon version [well you can purchase the cannon version too ]
does the magic with giving the perfect light ., I used to use full power 1/1
the smart move I did thinking I was doing the thing right !
one day yes the flasher left us without even saying good bye.
so the lesson I learnt on flashes , never go 1/1
if you really are a rich man .
the best power levels would be
1/2 , 1/4 , 1/8 ,
for day light you do not need flash , other than using it for high speed . and may be few circumstances like shady areas or cloudy days .
2 years passed , and now got some money in stash ., so will be going for a full frame booty :)
people will say good and bad about your stuff .
its life and its how life goes on . well you can break in to pieces or move on forward .
remember one thing , you gotta start small to be big . though am too , too small .yet .
But got bigger dreams , and too many aspirations where I expect the downfalls and got a crew to uplift you in every moment ..
so here is the lessons today !
1.choose your stuff and advance them in yearly plans .
because new and good gear do a difference !a big one !
it gives you the magic which you needs to give upon your art .
2.Prime lenses matter a lot when you are in low light conditions
start collecting your G lenses in Nikon and prime types in canon [I am not a much canon guy ]
but here is a source
http://explore-lenses.usa.canon.com/prime-lens.html
SELECT A PRIME LENS
EF 24mm f/2.8 IS USM
EF-S 24mm f/2.8 STM
EF 35mm f/2 IS USM
EF 40mm f/2.8 STM
EF 50mm f/1.4 USM
EF 50mm f/1.8 STM
EF 85mm f/1.8 USM
lower the F - stop number on your camera to f/2.8 or lower to capture more light , also you can use the shutter speed , making it lower in speed + with a tripod if your hands are shaky shaky .
Nikon people , you can go to this link and have fun in reading

3. Do not do Photography free of charge ! unless it really matters to you .
but people should know that there is a cost involvement , no body , but you will have to spend for your gear and the repairs .
